Thunder Acquire Bennett Stirtz in Draft-Day Deal
The Oklahoma City Thunder have drafted Iowa guard Bennett Stirtz, following a last-minute deal with Memphis during the 2026 NBA Draft. According to ESPN's Shams Charania, the Thunder are sending the 17th pick and two second-round picks to Memphis for Stirtz at the 16th overall selection. The 22-year-old is a crafty shooter and just needs a sliver of space to get off a shot. He averaged over 19 points per game in each of his last two seasons. Stirtz joins center Aday Mara as Oklahoma City's first-round selections.
