Sim Game Next On Tap For Carlos Rodon
1 year agoNew York Yankees left-hander Carlos Rodon (hamstring) had a two-up bullpen session that went well on Saturday, according to manager Aaron Boone. Rodon will now head to Tampa from Miami and will throw a simulated game next week. Boone is hoping to get Rodon back from the injured list as soon as he's eligible to return on Aug. 22. Despite the 30-year-old southpaw's disappointing first season in the Bronx, he needs to remain stashed in all fantasy leagues for the stretch run. He got a late start in 2023 due to forearm and back injuries and has made a total of six starts in pinstripes so far. In those six starts, Rodon hasn't been good, posting a 7.33 ERA, 1.52 WHIP and 25 strikeouts in 27 innings pitched.
