Cameron Young Stays Hot Ahead of Tour Championship
Cameron Young kept up his strong play at the BMW Championship, finishing 11th, and now heads to the Tour Championship for the second time. In 2022, he finished T19, losing nearly two strokes from tee to green. To improve this time, he'll need to be solid across the board, off the tee, from tee to green, and on long approaches. Young ranks 97th in strokes gained from tee to green (plus-0.039 per round), 32nd off the tee (plus-0.319), and 17th in driving distance. His approach game can struggle, ranking 138th (minus-0.234), as well as 99th in proximity from 175-200 yards and 159th from 200-plus yards. While early struggles held him back, he's been playing much better in the second half of the season. At $7,900 on DraftKings, Young offers boom-or-bust potential, but his recent form suggests the former.
