Zach Neto Exits With Wrist Injury on Wednesday
Zach Neto (wrist) left Wednesday's game against the Cincinnati Reds with left-wrist soreness, per Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register. Neto was hit by a pitch in the bottom of the third inning and stayed in until the Angels replaced him with Oswald Peraza in the top of the sixth. He finished the game 0-for-2, ending a modest six-game hitting streak. The 24-year-old has put up terrific production for the second straight season, having slashed .267/.325/.479 with 21 homers, 55 RBI, 74 runs scored, and 22 stolen bases in 471 plate appearances.
