Salvador Perez Remains Out Thursday
2 years agoKansas City Royals catcher Salvador Perez remains out of the team's starting lineup on Thursday against the Minnesota Twins due to general soreness. Perez was also out on Wednesday, but he figures to return to action behind the dish for the Royals this weekend. Fantasy managers must make sure to keep him out of their daily lineups for another day. The 32-year-old veteran catcher has gotten off to a .244 start (22-for-90) with seven doubles, two home runs, nine RBI and eight runs scored in 23 games and 96 plate appearances, and he remains a high-end fantasy catcher when healthy. MJ Melendez is catching for KC on Thursday and is hitting third in the batting order against Twins right-hander Tyler Mahle.
