4 years agoThe New Orleans Saints acquired linebacker Kwon Alexander from the San Francisco 49ers on Monday, according to a source. The 49ers will receive linebacker Kiko Alonso and a conditional fifth-round pick in return. Injuries held Alexander to just 13 games since he signed a four-year, $54 million deal with San Francisco last year. He's also missed the last three games with a high-ankle sprain but was limited in practice last week. If healthy, Alexander could be an upgrade next to Demario Davis in the middle of the field for New Orleans. He had 145 tackles in 2016 and was a Pro Bowler in 2017, but Alexander is off the IDP radar in 2020 because of his injuries.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
