Roman Josi Ends Dry Spell With Three-Point Effort
Nashville Predators defenseman Roman Josi was instrumental in Sunday's 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals, factoring in on all three of his team's goals. The Predators captain finished with the game-winning goal and added two assists. Two points, including his goal, came on the power play for Josi, who entered Sunday's contest with a four-game scoreless run. It's been a bit of a rocky patch for Josi lately, but he will be pleased to know that his team has upped its level of play in recent weeks. Thanks to an 8-4-0 surge, the Predators are now only two points out of a wild-card position in the Western Conference. Josi has tallied 21 points (six goals, 15 assists) in 33 games this season, while recording 85 shots and 49 blocked shots.
