San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Ricky Pearsall (knee) did not practice with the rest of the team for the second straight day this week on Thursday, according to Cam Inman of the Bay Area News Group. Instead, Pearsall was doing conditioning on a side field with a support sleeve on his right leg. The 25-year-old second-year pass-catcher suffered a PCL injury in the Week 4 loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars and was held out of the Week 5 win over the Los Angeles Rams last Thursday night. He has not given up hope yet of playing this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but it's not looking good for his chances right now. The Niners also were without Jauan Jennings (ankle, ribs) a week ago, which led to Kendrick Bourne having a career day as quarterback Mac Jones' top target. Jennings has a better shot at returning this weekend, but if Pearsall misses another game, Bourne could be in line for another big day.--Keith Hernandez
