Ja'Tavion Sanders Could be on Track to Return in Week 6
Ja'Tavion Sanders (ankle) was a full participant in Thursday's practice, according to Joe Person of The Athletic. It was an upgrade over his practice status on Wednesday, when he was listed as limited. The 22-year-old has missed the last two games due to a right high-ankle sprain, but his full participation on Thursday suggests that he's trending toward a return on Sunday against the visiting Dallas Cowboys in Week 6. A Sanders return would mean no more TE2 streaming appeal for Tommy Tremble in deeper leagues. When healthy, Sanders is Carolina's top pass-catching option at tight end, but that has not made him a top-10 fantasy option at the position. In three games before his ankle injury, he had just 11 receptions for 92 yards and no touchdowns on 14 targets.
