Alexander Volkanovski defended the featherweight title by defeating Diego Lopes via unanimous decision in the main event of UFC 325 on Saturday. Although it wasn't the most exciting fight, Volkanovski's jab and clinchwork were his best weapons as he dominated Lopes for most of the fight. The first fight between Volkanovski and Lopes this past April saw Volkanovski reclaim the vacant belt, and it could be argued that Volkanovski won this time more convincingly than the first time. In 25 minutes of action, Volkanovski landed two takedowns and 98 significant strikes. After the fight, Volkanovski expressed interest in facing Movsar Evloev or Lerone Murphy.--Alen Kurbasic
