Ravens To Resume Negotiations With Lamar Jackson
2 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens will reportedly resume long-term contract negotiations with quarterback Lamar Jackson (knee) after the 2023 season. Jackson bet on himself without a long-term deal locked up heading into the 2022 season, and he's now missed a month due to a sprained PCL in his knee that he suffered in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos. He has yet to return to practice and looks likely to miss another game this Sunday night against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Despite his injury at the end of the year for the second straight season, Jackson remains one of the best dual-threat signal-callers in the NFL, although he wasn't exactly lighting it up before he suffered the knee injury.
