Ravens, Nick Boyle Agree On Two-Year Extension
4 years agoThe Baltimore Ravens and tight end Nick Boyle agreed to a two-year, $13 million extension on Friday that will keep him around through the 2023 season. The deal includes $10.5 million fully guaranteed upon signing. Boyle suffered a season-ending knee injury in the Week 10 loss to the Patriots. He finished the 202 campaign with only 14 receptions on 17 targets for 113 yards and two touchdowns. The 27-year-old former fifth-round pick in 2015 had a career-high 31 catches on 43 targets for 321 yards and two touchdowns in 2019, but he remains primarily a blocking tight end and is one of the best in the league. Boyle will stick around in Baltimore for at least a few more seasons, but he's of little fantasy interest with Mark Andrews being the team's primary pass-catching threat at the position on a run-first squad.
