Rangers Planning To Start Jon Gray On Sunday
Jon Gray (finger) make his next start this Sunday against the Toronto Blue Jays. Gray was scratched from his last scheduled start on Tuesday due to a blister on his pitching hand, but manager Bruce Bochy said that Gray is doing well. Fantasy managers will be glad that the 31-year-old will be able to avoid a trip to the injured list. It's not the first time Gray has dealt with the blister this year, and the last time it was an issue, he tossed a complete game in his next start, which means he should be started with confidence this weekend. Gray has been great for Texas and fantasy managers alike this year, posting a 2.32 ERA (4.17 FIP), 0.96 WHIP, 20 walks and 63 strikeouts in 73 2/3 innings over 12 starts in his second year with the team.
