Pistons Exercise Team Option For Daniss Jenkins
The Detroit Pistons have picked up the $4 million team option for guard Daniss Jenkins, according to Spotrac's Keith Smith. The 24-year-old began the 2025-26 season on a two-way contract, eventually earning a standard contract in February. He was then named a starter for the final three games of Detroit's postseason run, scoring double digits in each contest. Ultimately, Jenkins averaged 9.3 points and 3.9 assists in 20.2 minutes per game during the regular season. The Pistons seem to like Jenkins more as a scoring option off the bench, as the team is rumored to be seeking more shooting to start alongside Cade Cunningham.
