Patrick Mahomes Good To Go For Monday Night
3 years agoKansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid said that there are no injury concerns for quarterback Patrick Mahomes (head), and he is good to go for Monday night's game against the New York Giants. Mahomes took an ugly hit late in the Week 7 loss to the Tennessee Titans and was slow to get up. He was checked out in the medical tent but reportedly cleared the concussion protocol and looked fine on the sidelines to close out the game. Last week was the only time that the Chiefs failed to score a touchdown in one of Mahomes' starts, but we have a feeling he'll bounce back in Week 8 against the Giants in prime time. Mahomes is still the QB2 in overall fantasy points and remains a must-start, elite QB1.
