NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the Dallas Cowboys have hired Arizona Cardinals offensive-line coach Klayton Adams as their new defensive coordinator. Adams had a second, in-person interview with the Cowboys on Friday and has landed the gig under first-time head coach Brian Schottenheimer. Schottenheimer will call plays for the Cowboys offense in his first year as the head coach. The 41-year-old Adams was with the Cardinals the last two seasons. Arizona ranked seventh with 144.2 yards per game on the ground in 2024 and second in yards per carry (5.3). Although Dallas' top running back, Rico Dowdle, had 1,079 yards this year, the Cowboys only had six rushing touchdowns. They are hoping the addition of Adams will make their ground game more prolific. Before joining the Cardinals, Adams spent four years with the Indianapolis Colts, working with tight ends and serving as assistant O-line coach.--Keith Hernandez

Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker has been accused of inappropriate sexual behavior by six massage therapists, according to the Baltimore Banner. According to the Baltimore Banner's article, Tucker engaged in inappropriate behavior at multiple high-end spas and wellness centers in the Baltimore area. Multiple therapists say they ended Tucker's sessions early due to his "egregious" behavior, and he has been banned from two spas in the area. Needless to say, this development will be worth monitoring, and further information will likely be available in the next few days and weeks. Just last week, the Ravens said they expect to have Tucker back for his 14th NFL season in 2025.--Jackson Sparks - RotoBaller

The New York Jets are working on a deal with Denver Broncos special teams assistant Chris Banjo to make him their new special teams coordinator, according to sources. Banjo served as Denver's special teams assistant each of the last two years and will be a big loss for the Broncos' special teams unit this offseason. Before beginning his coaching career, Banjo spent the last 10 years as a defensive back with the Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Arizona Cardinals and specialized on special teams. In addition to interviewing with the Jets, he had interviews for the special teams coordinator jobs with the Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers. In addition to bringing Banjo aboard the Jets, new head coach Aaron Glenn is also hiring long-time defensive coach Steve Wilks as the team's new defensive coordinator.--Keith Hernandez

According to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore seems to have done exceptionally well during the head-coaching interview process this cycle despite his team advancing to the Super Bowl and is in a "very strong position" to become the New Orleans Saints' next head coach. The Saints completed an in-person interview with Moore on Monday night. The Eagles had the No. 8 total offense (367.2 yards per game) during the 2024 regular season under Moore and also the No. 7 scoring offense (27.2 points per game). He's certainly one of, if not the best, offensive mind left available to the Saints as they look for a new head coach this offseason. In addition to leading Philly's explosive offense this year, Moore has also orchestrated several top offenses when he was the offensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys.--Keith Hernandez

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said that he never actually had a formal interview with former NFL cornerback and current Colorado head coach Deion Sanders for the team's open head-coaching position. The Cowboys officially named Brian Schottenheimer as their new head coach on Monday. "Just a conversation about the team, and about where he is, and his boys, conversation with his boys, that type of conversation," Jones said. "I've said I've talked to a lot of coaches, and Deion has a job." Hiring Sanders to replace Mike McCarthy at the helm in Dallas would have been a big splash for the organization, but Sanders has never coached in the NFL, and the Cowboys wanted to keep continuity with their offense by elevating Schottenheimer, who was the offensive coordinator in 2024. Sanders played for the Cowboys from 1995-99.--Keith Hernandez

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reports that the New Orleans Saints' head-coaching search will now accelerate this week and they plan to conduct an in-person interview with Philadelphia Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore as soon as Monday, according to sources. The Saints could be flying to Philadelphia to meet up with Moore. The 36-year-old just led Philly to a 55-point showing in the NFC Championship win over the division-rival Washington Commanders. Moore has already had virtual head-coaching interviews with the Saints, Dallas Cowboys and Jacksonville Jaguars this cycle, but the Cowboys and Jaguars have already hired new head coaches. Before spending this year in Philly as the OC, Moore was the Chargers' OC in 2023 and spent four years as the Cowboys' offensive coordinator before that.--Keith Hernandez

Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker will be relied upon in the AFC Championship game against the Buffalo Bills this Sunday. Butker was perfect on five kicks against the Texans last week, knocking through three field goals and two extra-point attempts. The veteran kicker had been a bit shaky in his return from knee surgery but was able to quell concerns with his performance in their Divisional Round win. Butker could be counted on late in this contest if the game plays out according to plan for Kansas City. Given the explosive nature of the Bills offense, the Chiefs will try to drag out possessions and rely on touchdowns or field goals at the end of them. Kansas City could also extend a drive in the fourth quarter and end it with a game-winning field goal, as we have seen several times before. Whether the game is a shootout or a closely contested matchup, Butker should be involved. The Chiefs kicker is a solid play in both DFS and playoff leagues this week.--Joshua Costello

Buffalo Bills kicker Tyler Bass remains a strong fantasy option for Sunday's AFC Championship against the Kansas City Chiefs. While the kicker position is somewhat of a crapshoot with just four teams remaining in the playoffs, Bass has a good chance to finish near or at the top of the final rankings when this week's games are complete. The 27-year-old has fared well in the playoffs so far, going 5-for-5 on field goals and 5-for-5 on extra points. His matchup against the Chiefs isn't ideal — Kansas City allowed the fifth-fewest fantasy points to kickers during the regular season — but Bass did make one field goal and three extra points when he faced them back in Week 11. Conditions are expected to work in Bass' favor, too, with minimal winds and no precipitation expected in Kansas City on Sunday.--Andersen Pickard

Philadelphia Eagles kicker Jake Elliott prepares for Sunday's NFC Championship game against the Washington Commanders with mixed results this postseason. Elliott has been perfect on field goals in the playoffs, going six for six, but has struggled with extra points, making just two of five attempts. Elliott's regular-season performance was below his usual standard, with a field goal percentage of 77.8%, including a concerning one of seven from 50+ yards. While he has drilled the most critical kicks when it mattered most, his extra-point struggles could loom large in what's expected to be a tightly contested game. As the Eagles aim for a Super Bowl berth, Elliott's ability to deliver under the brightest lights will be crucial for Philadelphia's success.--Tyler Thomson - RotoBaller

Washington Commanders kicker Zane Gonzalez is a risky play in DFS competitions this weekend facing the Philadelphia Eagles. Last weekend, during their upset victory over the Detroit Lions, Gonzalez went 1-for-2 on attempts and a perfect 6-for-6 on extra points. Since taking over the starting duties for Austin Seibert (groin), Gonzalez has gone 9-for-12 on field goals and 27-for-27 on extra points. Given that the Eagles have allowed the fewest fantasy points to opposing kickers this season makes Gonzalez a risky streaming option that carries little upside.--Andy Smith

According to Josina Anderson, the New York Jets are expected to hire Darren Mougey as their next general manager. Earlier this week, the Jets hired Aaron Glenn as their new head coach as they hope to turn their roster around. Mougey worked with the Denver Broncos as a scout for several years before being promoted to director of player personnel. He was then promoted to assistant general manager in 2022, a position he held for the past three years. Mougey will now be tasked to reshape the New York Jets alongside Glenn. The New York Jets have not made the postseason in 14 seasons, which is the longest streak in the NFL. The team has also had nine straight losing seasons. Mougey will look to turn the franchise around, and they should have a good opportunity to kickstart the rebuild with the No.7 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.--Andy Smith

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Las Vegas Raiders are hiring Pete Carroll as their next head coach. Carroll and the Raiders agreed to a three-year deal with a fourth-year option. Carroll was the head coach of the Seattle Seahawks for 14 seasons and led them to ten playoff appearances and their only Super Bowl victory in franchise history. During his long tenure with Seattle, he held a 137-89-1 record and a 10-9 postseason record. He is also one of four head coaches to win both a National Championship and Super Bowl. He was the head skipper of USC from 2001 to 2009. The 73-year-old will be tasked to replace Antonio Pierce, who went 4-13 during his time as head coach. With the Raiders entering a rebuilding period, Carroll will bring much-needed winning experience to the locker room. With a new head coach, the Raiders will likely look to bring in a new quarterback either in free agency or with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.--Andy Smith

One day after reportedly agreeing to a contract extension with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers that would have made him the league's highest-paid offensive coordinator, Liam Coen is meeting with the Jacksonville Jaguars on Thursday about their open head-coach position, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter. Just several days ago, Coen was considered the favorite to become Jacksonville's next head coach, but then the extension with Tampa was announced. The Jaguars then fired general manager Trent Baalke, and all of a sudden Coen is interest in the job again. It's a fluid situation and nothing is official, but it appears Coen could back out of his extension with Tampa to join Jacksonville now that Baalke is out of the picture. Coen joining the Jags would be good news for quarterback Trevor Lawrence and bad news for Baker Mayfield in Tampa.--Keith Hernandez

Former New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick officially signed his contract with the University of North Carolina on Thursday, more than a month after he was introduced as the Tar Heels' new head coach. The deal is laden with incentives that could make him one of the highest-paid coaches in college football. His contract is for five years and will pay him $10 million annually, with only the first three years being guaranteed. If Belichick leaves before June 1 of this year, he'll owe $10 million, but if he leaves after that date, the buyout drops to only $1 million. His $10 million salary would have tied for sixth-highest in college football. Despite several NFL teams trying to get Belichick to back out of his deal with UNC, including former quarterback Tom Brady (now a minority owner of the Raiders), Belichick plans to give it a go in the college ranks.--Keith Hernandez

The Chicago Bears will not retain offensive coordinator/interim head coach Thomas Brown and wide receivers coach Chris Beatty after the team hired Ben Johnson to be their next head coach, a league source told ESPN's Courtney Cronin. Brown interviewed for Chicago's head-coach position and also has interviewed for the Seattle Seahawks' offensive-coordinator vacancy. In addition to Brown and Beatty, offensive-line coach Chris Morgan, quarterbacks coach Kerry Joseph and defensive coordinator Eric Washington will not stay in Chicago under Johnson. Brown started the 2024 season as the Bears' passing-game coordinator but became the interim head coach after both offensive coordinator Shane Waldron and head coach Matt Eberflus were fired. In the last five weeks of the season, the Bears went 1-4 under the 38-year-old Brown.--Keith Hernandez
