According to Josina Anderson, the New York Jets are expected to hire Darren Mougey as their next general manager. Earlier this week, the Jets hired Aaron Glenn as their new head coach as they hope to turn their roster around. Mougey worked with the Denver Broncos as a scout for several years before being promoted to director of player personnel. He was then promoted to assistant general manager in 2022, a position he held for the past three years. Mougey will now be tasked to reshape the New York Jets alongside Glenn. The New York Jets have not made the postseason in 14 seasons, which is the longest streak in the NFL. The team has also had nine straight losing seasons. Mougey will look to turn the franchise around, and they should have a good opportunity to kickstart the rebuild with the No.7 pick in the 2025 NFL Draft.--Andy Smith
