Giants Could Be Willing To Trade Up To No. 1 Overall
Matthew Stafford, according to league sources. One avenue for the Giants could be to trade up into the No. 1 overall draft spot to ensure they can secure their favorite QB option this year. The Tennessee Titans currently own the No. 1 pick, but there has been plenty of interest from teams wanting to move up into the top spot. If the G-Men don't outbid other teams to secure the No. 1 overall pick in this year's NFL draft, New York Jets QB Aaron Rodgers is another option. The Giants have already spoken to Rodgers' representation about playing for their team once he's officially released by the Jets as a post-June 1 cut. There has been plenty of speculation that New York could draft a QB this year while also adding a veteran bridge signal-caller.

Chain Gangs To Be Replaced In 2025
Josh Allen appeared to cross the first-down marker in the AFC Championship before officials ruled he didn't reach the line to gain against the Kansas City Chiefs, who ended up winning the game 22-21.

NFL Network's Mike Garafolo reports that the Hawk-Eye virtual measurement for the line to gain is scheduled to replace the chains as the primary measurement system for the NFL regular season in 2025. The chain gain will remain on the sidelines as a backup option. The average time to measure with the chains came out to 75 seconds, while virtual measurements have averaged just 30 seconds during the testing phase. Most fans are supportive of the move, feeling that the chain gain was an outdated system that didn't give the most accurate measurements for down distance or when determining whether a team picked up a first down. It has led to controversial calls, none more prominent than when Bills quarterback Source: NFL Network - Mike Garofolo
Titans Will Listen To Calls On No. 1 Overall Pick
Will Levis was benched in 2024, so QB is certainly a position of need at No. 1 overall as well if the Titans don't trade out of the No. 1 overall pick this year. Borgonzi also said, "We could sign a quarterback in free agency and also draft a quarterback as well." The bottom line is the Titans have a number of different avenues they could employ, and trading the first pick remains in play.

New Tennessee Titans general manager Mike Borgonzi told reporters at the NFL Combine on Tuesday that he has received calls about the availability of the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 draft. While the Titans will listen, it's too early in the process for Borgonzi to be making any decisions. If Tennessee holds onto the top pick, it's not out of the question that they would consider taking Colorado wide receiver/defensive back Travis Hunter, who Borgonzi called a "generational talent." Ravens To Wait To Make Decision On Justin Tucker
Justin Tucker and that the Ravens will allow the NFL to conduct its investigation before making any decisions. "The allegations are serious, concerning. The amount of allegations are serious and concerning. I think we're fortunate that the league is doing an investigation. We'll wait as patiently as we can for as much information as we can and we'll make our decisions based on that," DeCosta said. Sixteen women have alleged sexual misconduct at massage parlors against the 35-year-old Tucker, and the Ravens have said in the past that they have a "zero-tolerance" policy against sexual misconduct. Not only could Tucker be facing a lengthy suspension from the NFL in 2025, but the Ravens could outright release him, especially after he had the worst season of his career in 2024.

Graham Gano Could Be On His Way Out
Graham Gano could still be a cap casualty as the Giants look to save a little extra money. The 37-year-old veteran is set to count $5.7 million against this year's cap and has missed 16 games because of injury the last two years. If the G-Men decide to cut the kicker, they'd save $3.2 million on the cap while creating $2.5 million in dead money. Gano injured his hamstring in Week 9 in 2024 and ended up playing in only 10 games, going 9-for-11 on his field-goal tries and 15-for-15 on extra points. He's been pretty reliable in his five seasons with New York, making 87.2% of his field goals, but the Giants wouldn't be blamed for looking to go younger at the position.

Jason Sanders Could Be A Cap Casualty
Raheem Mostert, cornerback Kendall Fuller and tight end Durham Smythe this offseason, and The Athletic's Jim Ayello suggests that kicker Jason Sanders could be the next on the chopping block. The Dolphins have one of the worst salary cap situations in the league this year, and cutting big-money players such as left tackle Terron Armstead and linebacker Bradley Chubb would incur huge dead-cap penalties ($32.7 million for Armstead and $27.3 million for Chubb). Sanders has a fair cap hit of $4.7 million in 2025, but the Dolphins could get additional cap space of $3.3 million by cutting him. The 29-year-old was a top-10 fantasy kicker in 2024 and made a career-high 37 of his 41 field-goal attempts in 17 games while missing just two of his extra-point tries. This situation purely comes down to salary-cap space for Miami.

Cardinals Plan To Be Active In Free Agency
Trey McBride. Arizona didn't make the playoffs in 2024 but managed to double their win total from the previous season. In addition to locking up McBride long term, don't be surprised if the Cardinals give quarterback Kyler Murray more help in the passing game alongside McBride and former first-rounder Marvin Harrison Jr.

Arizona Cardinals general manager Monti Ossenfort and owner Michael Bidwell said that the team plans to be active in free agency this offseason with more than $76 million available in salary cap space, according to Over The Cap. It's the fourth-most cap space available of any NFL team. "We're going to look for every avenue to improve the team, but we have to be smart about not only this year's team, but as we build for the future and our own players that we want to extend," Ossenfort said. Ravens Have Had "Zero Tolerance" For Sexual-Misconduct Situations
Justin Tucker, who has been accused by 16 massage therapists of improper sexual conduct. However, head coach Jim Harbaugh said before the 2022 season that "we're kind of zero tolerance" with players accused of sexual misconduct. Tucker has three years left on his current contract. If the Ravens were to cut him before June 1, they'd take a $7.5 million dead cap hit in 2025. So if they do choose to move on from the 35-year-old, he'd likely be a post-June 1 cut, which would create $4.5 million in salary cap savings and spread out the dead-money hit over the next two years. If they keep Tucker, they would likely bring in another kicking option to give themselves insurance in case he's suspended under the NFL's personal-conduct policy. At the very least, Tucker could be hit with a lengthy suspension in 2025.

Packers Likely To Re-Sign Brandon McManus
Brandon McManus in the must-sign group for the team this offseason. McManus' arrival in October turned around the team's dreadful kicking game after Anders Carlson and Brayden Narveson missed 18 field goals and extra points in 25 games, including the playoffs, in 2023 and early 2024. McManus, meanwhile, made 50 of 51 field goals and extra points in 11 regular-season games last year. He doesn't look like he's lost much at age 33 and was on the veteran's minimum last year because he was coming off an investigation by the league for the personal-conduct policy. "If we were able to get Brandon back, I think certainly that would make me feel very, very, very good about that [specialist] group," general manager Brian Gutekunst said. If McManus returns, he could be a nice fantasy streamer.
