Denver Nuggets forward Michael Porter Jr. (shoulder) is available for Saturday's playoff matchup with the Clippers. He continues to battle a left shoulder strain. Fortunately, the 26-year-old hasn't missed a game during the series. Porter has struggled, hitting the double-digit scoring mark just once in his last three games. But with Russell Westbrook (foot) out, Porter could benefit on the scoring end.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBallerSource: NBA Injury Report

Washington Capitals forward Aliaksei Protas (foot) is on track to rejoin the lineup for Sunday's Game 4 against the Montreal Canadiens. He was a full participant in Saturday's practice and could make his first appearance since April 4, when Protas sustained a skate cut on the top of his left foot during a matchup against the Chicago Blackhawks. Protas was highly effective for the Capitals during the regular season, putting up a career-high 30 goals and 66 points in 76 games, while ranking third in the league with a plus-40 rating. Capitals head coach Spencer Carbery will have some big decisions to make, as Protas' replacement on the first line, Anthony Beauvillier, has had a great start to the postseason with four points (one goal, three assists) in three games.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: Dan Rosen

Denver Nuggets guard Russell Westbrook (foot) won't play on Saturday against the Clippers. The multi-time All-Star combined for 29 points in the first two games of this series. Unfortunately, he had only three points in Game 3 and was limited to eight minutes of action. It's unknown if Westbrook will be ready to return for Game 5. In the meantime, Peyton Watson and Jalen Pickett should see more work from off the bench. Still, interim head coach David Adelman will presumably give his starting lineup all the minutes they can handle, which could make it difficult for Watson and Pickett to do anything meaningful for DFS managers.--Dennis Clausen - RotoBallerSource: Law Murray

Winnipeg Jets forward Gabriel Vilardi (upper body) is considered a game-time decision for Sunday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. He was a full participant in Saturday's practice and is closing in on his return. An upper-body injury has kept Vilardi sidelined for 14 games. Before the injury took him out of the lineup, Vilardi was flying, registering a career-high 61 points (27 goals, 34 assists) in 71 appearances with 130 shots on goal. Vilardi's return will likely end Alex Iafallo's stint on the top line. During the regular season, Vilardi had two goals on three shots in three meetings with the Blues.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: Murat Ates

Dallas Stars forward Oskar Back (oblique) will be a game-time decision for Saturday's tilt against the Colorado Avalanche. The Swedish forward sustained an oblique injury in Game 3 on Wednesday night. He participated in the morning skate but may still sit out the action on Saturday. Skating on the fourth line, Back has recorded one assist, one shot, and two hits in the series, averaging 11:29 of ice time. If he can't go on Saturday, the Stars plan to bring Mavrik Bourque back into the lineup. He went scoreless with three shots on goal in Game 1, finishing with a minus-two rating across 10:37 of action.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: Lia Assimakopoulos

Colorado Avalanche forward Ross Colton (lower body) will remain out of the lineup on Saturday against the Dallas Stars. The 28-year-old suffered a lower-body injury in the series opener and will miss a third consecutive game. Initially, the team replaced Colton with Miles Wood in the lineup, but Gabriel Landeskog has since entered the frame. The Avalanche captain ended a 1,032-day absence in Game 3 and will remain in the lineup on Saturday, moving up to the second line. Jonathan Drouin, who has registered two power-play assists in the series, will drop to the third line.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: Pierre LeBrun

Dallas Stars defenseman Miro Heiskanen (knee) will remain sidelined for Game 4 against the Colorado Avalanche on Saturday night. The Finnish blue-liner has resumed skating and traveled with the team to Denver, but his absence will extend to 35 consecutive games. Heiskanen's next opportunity to return will be on Monday when the series shifts back to Dallas for Game 5. Thomas Harley and Esa Lindell will continue to eat up big minutes in defense until Heiskanen returns. The former leads all skaters on the team with an average ice time of 31:05 and has also recorded the most points with three (one goal, two assists) in the postseason.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBallerSource: Pierre LeBrun

The Indianapolis Colts have selected Notre Dame quarterback Riley Leonard with the 189th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. A Duke transfer, Leonard racked up 2,861 passing yards, 21 passing touchdowns, and eight interceptions during his one and only season with the Fighting Irish. He also rushed for 906 yards and another 17 touchdowns on the ground. Leonard is capable of making big, accurate throws down the field, but he can also keep defenses guessing with his ability to roll out of the pocket and make plays. He joins a Colts quarterback room that features two other mobile quarterbacks, Anthony Richardson and Daniel Jones. Leonard likely won't earn playing time in Week 1, but with glaring quarterback questions in Indianapolis, he could push for an opportunity to earn snaps down the stretch.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL

The Pittsburgh Steelers have selected Ohio State quarterback Will Howard with the 185th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Howard looked like a polished passer at times last season, leading the Buckeyes to a national championship. He pairs his good mechanics and accuracy with the mobility needed to make plays on the run. As a senior, he ultimately led the Big 10 in completion percentage (73%), passing yards (4,010), and passing touchdowns (35). This selection is particularly intriguing because Howard could have a chance to compete for the starting quarterback job. Pittsburgh's quarterback room currently features Mason Rudolph and Skylar Thompson, neither of whom has extensive starting experience at the NFL level.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Pittsburgh Steelers

The Philadelphia Eagles selected Syracuse quarterback Kyle McCord with the 181st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. McCord transferred from Ohio State to Syracuse ahead of the 2024 season, and during his final collegiate campaign, he led all FBS schools in completions, pass attempts, and passing yards. He totaled 34 passing touchdowns but also threw 12 interceptions. McCord's arm strength and upside are evident, but things can go awry when he gets forced outside of the pocket. He'll presumably have a chance to compete with Tanner McKee and Dorian Thompson-Robinson for the Eagles' backup quarterback job behind Jalen Hurts.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Miami Dolphins have selected Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II with the 179th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Gordon is a good, physical downhill runner who has shown an ability to catch passes out of the backfield. He was a workhorse running back over his final two collegiate seasons, totaling 2,612 rushing yards, 509 receiving yards, and 36 touchdowns during that span. He'll join a Miami backfield that also features De'Von Achane, Jaylen Wright, and Alexander Mattison.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

The Indianapolis Colts have selected Kansas State running back DJ Giddens with the 151st overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. He's a big-bodied runner with decent speed and the ability to find gaps at the line of scrimmage. Over his final two collegiate seasons, he totaled 2,569 rushing yards, 581 receiving yards, and 21 total touchdowns. Presumably, he'll have a chance to compete with Khalil Herbert for the No. 2 running back role behind Jonathan Taylor. Of course, Taylor remains the workhorse in Indianapolis, so Giddens would only become fantasy-relevant if Taylor gets injured.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Indianapolis Colts

Chicago Cubs first baseman Michael Busch is absent from the lineup for Saturday's matchup with the Phillies as Philadelphia sends lefty Jesus Luzardo to the mound. Busch is off to a good start at the plate, slashing .295/.386/.568 with a .414 wOBA and 167 wRC+ over 101 plate appearances, but will give way to Justin Turner on Saturday. The veteran, on the other hand, has been atrocious at the plate, hitting .154 without a single extra base hit on the year so far, and even worse lately, going 1-for-18 (.056) over his last seven games. Although Turner is batting fourth, the Cubs have a low implied run total in this one, and Turner is 1-for-10 in his career off of Luzardo, so DFS users will likely want to look elsewhere for options at first base. --Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: Chicago Cubs

Milwaukee Brewers starting pitcher Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) made a 61-pitch rehab start at Triple-A Nashville on Thursday, but felt "really tired" afterward, according to manager Pat Murphy. Murphy also indicated that, although Woodruff experienced tiredness, there were no physical setbacks, so a return to the major league mound in May still appears to be on track. Despite not pitching in a game since 2023, the righty owns a career 3.10 ERA, 1.05 WHIP, and 22.4 percent K-BB%, so for those in need of pitching help, the 32-year-old is a worthwhile bench or IL stash in most fantasy leagues.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: Todd Rosiak

San Francisco Giants second baseman Tyler Fitzgerald was scratched from Saturday's game against the Rangers with a chest contusion. The injury happened when attempting to make a diving play on a ground ball during Friday's contest, but he remained in the game, so consider him day-to-day for now. The 27-year-old is off to a good start to the year, slashing .289/.341/.447 with seven extra-base hits (two HR), seven RBI, 13 runs scored, and five stolen bases, along with a .347 wOBA and 123 wRC+. Fantasy managers should continue to use the former fourth-round draft pick once he returns to the lineup; in the meantime, Christian Koss will fill in at second base and bat eighth on Saturday.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: Susan Slusser

Athletics outfielder Lawrence Butler is not in Saturday's lineup against the White Sox, who will send Jonathan Cannon to the mound. Cannon is a righty, so it doesn't appear to be matchup or injury-related, simply a day of rest. It could be good for the young slugger who has slumped a bit over the past week, going 3-for-22 (.136) in the last five games, although two of those three hits were home runs. Brent Rooker will bat second and man right field on Saturday for the A's.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: Athletics on X

Colorado Rockies shortstop Ezequiel Tovar (hip) is still at least a week away from returning from the injured list according to manager Bud Black. Aaron Schunk had been filling in as of late for the injured Tovar, but has now been placed on the IL as well. Kyle Farmer will man shortstop in Saturday's game against the Reds, but has not recorded a hit in his last 17 at-bats. So, needless to say, the 4-21 Rockies will hope to get Tovar back as soon as possible to hopefully breathe some life into the offense, although he was struggling to begin the year, slashing .212/.257/.303 with no home runs, a .251 wOBA, and 44 wRC+. In contrast, Tovar put together a .269-26-78-83-6 line last season with a .324 wOBA and 95 wRC+.--Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: Patrick Lyons

The Dallas Cowboys have selected Texas running back Jaydon Blue with the 149th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Blue isn't a dominant tackle breaker, but he has good downfield speed and can make an impact as a dual-threat option out of the backfield. He rushed 134 times for 730 yards and eight touchdowns on the ground last year, and he added an additional 42 catches, 368 receiving yards, and six receiving touchdowns through the air. Entering the draft, Dallas' backfield was headlined by Javonte Williams, Miles Sanders, and Deuce Vaughn, so Blue has a chance to carve out a role right away. He's an intriguing rookie selection and could be worth a late-round flier in redraft leagues.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL

The San Francisco 49ers have selected Ole Miss wide receiver Jordan Watkins with the 138th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Watkins doesn't possess game-changing speed, but his physical playing style and dependable hands make him a solid slot receiver who can play through contact. His receiving skills were on display at Ole Miss, where he caught 49 passes for 906 yards and nine touchdowns. San Francisco shipped away Deebo Samuel Sr. this offseason, but Watkins is still buried on the depth chart behind Brandon Aiyuk, Jauan Jennings, and Ricky Pearsall.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

St. Louis Cardinals catcher Ivan Herrera (knee) caught a bullpen session on Saturday as he works his way back from a bone bruise in his left knee. Herrera began running the bases earlier this week and is expected to begin a rehab assignment on Thursday of next week. The 24-year-old had gotten off to a hot start to the year, going 8-for-21 (.381) with two doubles, four home runs, 11 RBI, six runs scored, and a 3:5 BB:K. Fantasy managers who had rostered the Panamanian backstop who had to use a less-potent fill-in during his absence will welcome him back with open arms as the right-handed hitter still ranks within the top 12 at the position despite not having played in a game since April 6. Rostered in less than half of fantasy leagues, managers looking for catching help should stash him before his eventual return. --Jarod Rupp - RotoBallerSource: Katie Woo

The Baltimore Orioles have recalled outfielder Dylan Carlson in light of fellow outfielder Tyler O'Neill's (neck) move to the 10-day IL. Carlson will join the O's big-league roster, likely serving as depth while O'Neill works out a nagging neck injury that's forced him from a few appearances over the prior weeks. The switch-hitting 26-year-old has already been up with the Orioles briefly in 2025, going 0-for-4 with four strikeouts, a RBI, and a walk. However, he's been much better for Triple-A Norfolk, batting .286 (18-for-63) with 18 runs, 11 RBI, and a 19:15 BB:K ratio. Once a first-round pick, Carlson has yet to live up to his power-speed billing in the MLB. Unless he captures some of his minor-league magic, it's unlikely he'll stick long at the major-league level. Teammate Ramon Laureano is covering right field on Saturday during their outing against the Tigers, batting ninth.--Alex CiullaSource: Matthew Postins

The Minnesota Vikings have acquired quarterback Sam Howell and the 172nd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft from the Seattle Seahawks in exchange for the 142nd overall pick, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Vikings were in need of a backup quarterback after a busy offseason that saw Sam Darnold depart in free agency, leaving J.J. McCarthy (knee) as the team's presumptive starter. Ironically, Darnold went to the Seahawks, and Seattle also drafted Jalen Milroe on Friday, leaving Howell as the odd man out. Now, he'll bring his experience and leadership to Minnesota. It's an important addition for the Vikings given that McCarthy, who was last year's first-round pick, has not played a regular-season snap yet. He should start Week 1 this season, but Howell will be next in line if McCarthy suffers another injury or struggles.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Ian Rapoport

The Tennessee Titans have selected Stanford wide receiver Elic Ayomanor with the 136th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Less than two days after drafting quarterback Cam Ward, the Titans are making a clear effort to support him with young pass-catchers. Their first three Day 3 picks were used on a pair of wide receivers and a tight end. Ayomanor is a playmaker who can work vertically and projects to contribute in a depth role at the NFL level. He and fellow fourth-round pick Chimere Dike will presumably open the year behind Calvin Ridley, Tyler Lockett, and perhaps Van Jefferson.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: NFL.com

Steve Gilbert of MLB.com reports that x-rays on Arizona Diamondbacks pitcher Jalen Beeks (forearm) came back negative following his early removal from the team's loss against the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. The 31-year-old picked up his fourth hold in the contest, allowing one hit while striking out one batter. However, he was struck with a comebacker on his left forearm. Fortunately, there was no structural damage to his arm, but the injury required him to leave the game as his arm immediately began to swell. He can be considered day-to-day for now. Beeks has been superb for the D-Backs in 2025, bolstering a 0.60 ERA and 0.73 WHIP over 15 innings pitched. He's struck out 15 batters (27.3% K%) to just three walks on the season.--Alex CiullaSource: Steve Gilbert

The Kansas City Chiefs have selected Jalen Royals with the 133rd overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Royals, who was a candidate to be selected on Day 2, represents the Chiefs' latest attempt to bolster the wide receiver room for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. He caught 126 passes for 1,914 yards and 21 touchdowns over his final two collegiate seasons. He is a versatile, well-rounded receiver who can make an impact right away, though he could initially be blocked on the depth chart by Xavier Worthy, Rashee Rice, and Marquise Brown.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Jordan Schultz

Boston Red Sox pitcher Lucas Giolito (hamstring) will line up for his first scheduled start of the season this coming Wednesday when his team squares off against the Toronto Blue Jays for their second game of the series. The veteran hurler has been shelved since Spring Training after suffering a low-grade hamstring strain. Giolito had a rough go over his five rehab starts, compiling a 5.19 ERA in 17.1 innings with a 17:13 K:BB ratio across two levels. He was better for Triple-A Worcester, but walked ten batters in 10.1 innings there. The former first-round pick hasn't pitched in the Majors since 2023 after missing all of last season due to an internal brace procedure on his elbow. He has the tools to boost Boston's rotation, but fantasy managers may want to exhibit caution before immediately slotting him into their lineups.--Alex CiullaSource: Christopher Smith

The Washington Commanders selected Virginia Tech wide receiver Jaylin Lane with the 128th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Lane is a physical and speedy runner who is capable of accruing yards after the catch, but his route running needs improvement. He caught 79 passes for 1,004 yards and eight touchdowns over his final two collegiate seasons. Washington's wide receiver room already features Terry McLaurin, Deebo Samuel Sr., Michael Gallup, and Noah Brown, so Lane's best route to earning playing time could be special teams. The Commanders also presumably aren't ready to give up on Luke McCaffrey, who was last year's third-round pick.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: John Keim

The Cleveland Browns have selected Tennessee running back Dylan Sampson with the 126th overall pick in the 2025 NFL Draft. Sampson has previously dealt with fumbling issues, but he possesses a high football IQ and has shown an ability to fight for extra yards after first contact. He is also capable of being a workhorse back, which was on display as he rushed 258 times for 1,491 and 22 touchdowns as a senior last season. It will be interesting to monitor the running back competition in Cleveland this summer. The Browns already had Jerome Ford and Pierre Strong Jr., and now they've added Sampson and Quinshon Judkins via the draft.--Andersen Pickard - RotoBallerSource: Cleveland Browns
