Tom Kim finished T45 at last week’s Travelers Championship and will now focus on preparing for this week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. Kim has one top-25 finish and missed the cut five times in 17 starts this season. Over the past 12 months, Kim ranks in the 96th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 100-150 yards in the fairway. This is worth pointing out because at last year’s Rocket Mortgage Classic over 29% of approach shots came from this distance.--Ian Christenson - RotoBallerSource: Data Golf

Matt Fitzpatrick finished T17 at last week’s Travelers Championship and will now focus on preparing for next week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. Fitzpatrick has five top-25 finishes and missed the cut four times in 15 starts this season. Over the past 12 months, Fitzpatrick ranks in the 19th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 100-150 yards in the fairway. This is worth pointing out because at last year’s Rocket Mortgage Classic over 29% of approach shots came from this distance.--Ian Christenson - RotoBallerSource: Data Golf

Patrick Cantlay finished T12 at last week’s Travelers Championship and will now focus on preparing for this week’s Rocket Mortgage Classic held at Detroit Golf Club in Detroit, Michigan. Cantlay has eight top-15 finishes and missed the cut twice in 14 starts this season. Over the past 12 months, Cantlay ranks in the 84th percentile in proximity to the hole on approach shots from 100-150 yards in the fairway. This is important because at last year’s Rocket Mortgage Classic over 29% of approach shots came from this distance.--Ian Christenson - RotoBallerSource: Data Golf

The grind continues for Max Homa, who is still looking for the missing link in his golf game following a T54 finish last week at the Travelers. Ball striking is still the glaring issue, as he ranks 164th in strokes gained tee to green (-1.152). It's a problem that only seems to fix itself for one to two weeks before reverting, and rarely has it translated throughout the entire golf bag. The Detroit Golf Club has been fairly kind to the 34-year-old, as he's managed to finish inside the top 25 here each of the last three years. Given the flat stick is the only thing in the bag even remotely cooperating (+0578 strokes gained putting average over last seven starts), that doesn't seem like enough to justify taking the chance on the former Cal-Berkeley golfer.--Todd McGillSource: Data Golf

From a tee to green perspective, Ryan Gerard is playing well enough to warrant weekly starts almost without a second thought. He hasn't lost strokes in any of the three metrics that make up the tee to green statistic in his last six events. However, the putter has gone completely cold, averaging -0.746 strokes gained on the greens over that same span. That won't do him any good at the Detroit Golf Club, where putting is the leading correlation to success over the previous six years. His length off the tee also doesn't track what has worked here in the past. At $9,800 on FanDuel, Gerard is priced a bit high for what he's produced in recent weeks since his top 10 at the PGA Championship.--Todd McGillSource: Data Golf

With his absence from last week's Signature Event, Quade Cummins dropped back to play in Kansas on the Korn Ferry Tour and hopefully gain some confidence before the back half of the season. Luckily, he may have done that with a T4 finish. He returns to the strength of the PGA Tour, looking to keep the momentum going. Detroit Golf Club doesn't leave much to the imagination from tee to green, but putting surfaces require close attention; perfect for the guy who ranks 14th in strokes gained putting (+0.498) on the season, like Cummins does. The 29-year-old is long and accurate enough off the tee, but what he does on approach and around the greens is the biggest question mark. For someone as far down the list of this weaker field as he is at $8,100 on FanDuel, there is enough to like here that's worth taking a shot on.--Todd McGillSource: PGA Tour

It was a ho-hum week in Cromwell for Luke Clanton, who finished T34 after posting rounds of 67-72-68-70. It was just his second event since turning professional at the beginning of the month, so he's still adjusting to the lifestyle change from a college athlete to a professional one. He comes to this week's Rocket Classic with knowledge of his T10 at this event last summer, which had him in the thick of things until the final day. On paper, the former Seminole fits the mold for being able to bomb and gouge their way around. The 21-year-old is consistently over 310 yards off the tee and has established a 4.53 par-5 scoring average. If the putting and short game don't kill him, he is a fine DFS play.--Todd McGillSource: PGA Tour

It is good to see that Keegan Bradley continues to do his due diligence as the current U.S. Ryder Cup Captain, even after the whirlwind comeback he experienced Sunday at TPC River Highlands. The 39-year-old pulled off a miraculous two-shot swing on the final hole to best a gutted Tommy Fleetwood for his seventh PGA Tour victory. The week was determined by Bradley's work on the greens, averaging +1.72 strokes gained putting over the four days. He may not have the greatest game on paper for the Detroit Golf Club, given the list of winners here since 2019. He certainly has the game to show up anywhere, though it's safe to expect some regression from last week, which may call for going a different direction given his heavy price tag.--Todd McGillSource: Data Golf

Maverick McNealy has come close multiple times to victories this year, falling just short each time. He has six top 10s, which include three top-three finishes. He has also been consistent about making cuts (14/17). This week's Travelers Championship will test players' ability to be precise off the tee, hit good iron shots, and be savvy on and around the greens. McNealy ranks 98th in driving accuracy (58.76%), 41st in strokes gained on approach (+0.338), 133rd in strokes gained around the green (-0.151), and 37th in strokes gained putting (+0.271). However, a key distance will be 100-150, a distance McNealy has struggled with, ranking outside the top 100. He's not a terrible play by any means, but there are many better options out there for fantasy managers this week.--Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Wyndham Clark has let his frustrations with his golf game show in the open for the national audience to see. He has struggled severely as of late, not having finished better than T50 since the RBC Heritage back in mid-April. His history is shaky at best at this week's Travelers Championship with two top 20 finishes, one top 10, three missed cuts, and two other finishes outside the top 25. TPC River Highlands rewards players who are accurate off the tee and great on and around the greens. Clark has struggled with errant driver shots, ranking 130th in driving accuracy (55.82%), but excels around and on the green, where he ranks 32nd in strokes gained around the green (+0.232) and 67th in strokes gained putting (+0.141). This may be a get right spot at one of the easiest venues on Tour, but his game isn't there at the moment, making it best to avoid him this week.--Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Rickie Fowler has been a truly boom-or-bust candidate in 2025. He has five finishes inside the top 25, including a T7 in his last start at the Memorial, but has finished outside the top 35 six times. His history at this week's Travelers Championship is tricky with four finishes inside the top 20 but also three missed cuts in seven total starts. TPC River Highlands tests players' ability to be precise off the tee and be savvy on and around the greens. This season, Fowler has been very accurate off the tee, ranking 51st (61.77%). However, his poor iron play and short game have hindered his ability to compete. He ranks 104th in strokes gained on approach (-0.026) and 145th in strokes gained around the green (-0.217). Fantasy managers should steer clear of the Californian this week. --Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Russell Henley has been one of the most consistent golfers over the last two years. After struggling at the PGA Championship, he bounced back with a top-five finish at the Memorial and a T10 at last week's U.S. Open. This week's Travelers Championship is a tournament Henley has typically played well, which makes sense considering TPC River Highlands plays into the strengths of his game. In seven starts, he's finished inside the top 20 four times, including a T11 in 2016 and T6 in 2018. Players will need to be precise off the tee and smooth on and around the greens to succeed at the highest level at one of the easiest venues on the PGA Tour schedule. Henley ranks 17th in driving accuracy, eighth in strokes gained around the green (+0.438), and 34th in strokes gained putting (+0.280). He's an excellent option at his $8,800 price tag on DraftKings.--Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

Jason Day looks to improve on a solid 2025 season. He has only missed one cut, has three top-10 finishes, and finished T23 or better on two more occasions, including this past weekend at the U.S. Open. This week's Travelers Championship at TPC River Highlands features a layout that rewards precision accuracy off the tee and great play on and around the green. Day ranks 105th in driving accuracy (57.82%), 24th in strokes gained around the green (+0.291), and 108th in strokes gained putting (-0.044). Although those stats aren't ideal by any stretch, he also has a decent history at this venue. In 10 starts, he's made eight cuts, has four top 25s, and has two top 10 finishes. He should be considered a hit or miss option this week for fantasy managers. --Jake Walker - RotoBallerSource: PGA Tour

The weeks continue to roll by without Sungjae Im doing anything particularly impressive. The highly regarded ball striker just hasn't found anything in that department in 2025, ranking 174th in strokes gained on approach (-0.911). However, every other part of his game has been pretty respectable, ranking 36th or better in all other strokes gained metrics. The unfortunate side is that the drastic shortcomings with his approach play haven't allowed him to put four rounds together, and that is worrisome on a course like TPC River Highlands that could demand a winning score of -20 under par or more. At $9,000, there's too much not working from tee to green to possibly trust an outcome for the South Korean.--Todd McGillSource: PGA Tour
