The weeks continue to roll by without Sungjae Im doing anything particularly impressive. The highly regarded ball striker just hasn't found anything in that department in 2025, ranking 174th in strokes gained on approach (-0.911). However, every other part of his game has been pretty respectable, ranking 36th or better in all other strokes gained metrics. The unfortunate side is that the drastic shortcomings with his approach play haven't allowed him to put four rounds together, and that is worrisome on a course like TPC River Highlands that could demand a winning score of -20 under par or more. At $9,000, there's too much not working from tee to green to possibly trust an outcome for the South Korean.--Todd McGill
