Packers Not Expected To Activate Marquez Valdes-Scantling
3 years agoThe Green Bay Packers are not expected to activate wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling (hamstring) from Injured Reserve before Thursday night's game against the Arizona Cardinals, according to a source. Green Bay will be also be without Davante Adams and Allen Lazard, who are both on the COVID-19 list. As a result, quarterback Aaron Rodgers will surely have a lower fantasy ceiling as a QB1. The Packers will likely involve running backs Aaron Jones and A.J. Dillon more, as well as tight end Robert Tonyan. At wideout, veteran Randall Cobb, Equanimeous St. Brown and rookie Amari Rodgers should operate in three-receiver sets. Juwann Winfree was called up from the practice squad and will give the team extra depth.
