Odell Beckham Jr. To Have Surgery Next Week
4 years agoCleveland Browns wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. (knee), who suffered a torn ACL in his left knee in the first quarter of the Week 7 win over the Bengals, will have surgery early next week, according to general manager Andrew Berry. Beckham caught 23 passes for 319 yards and three touchdowns while also running the ball three times for 72 yards and another touchdown in seven games in 2020. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported over the weekend that there is a "very real possibility" that Beckham has played his final game with the Browns. The 28-year-old has $12 million guaranteed in his contract at the start of next season, so Cleveland would have to trade him if he proves healthy after his season-ending injury. The three-time Pro Bowler's stock has dropped in his time in Cleveland. Jarvis Landry and Rashard Higgins are the top two pass-catchers with Beckham done for the season.
