4 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Noah Fant had a nice showing in the 31-30 Week 8 win over the Chargers by catching a team-high seven passes on nine targets for 47 yards. Fant's nine targets were second-most on the team behind rookie receiver Jerry Jeudy, and it was nice to see after rookie tight end Albert Okwuegbunam outperformed him in his return from an ankle injury in Week 7. Okwuegbunam did find the end zone on his only target against the Bolts, but Fant's workload in this one should ease any concerns about whether his rest-of-season ceiling would be lowered by the presence of Albert O. With another week removed from his ankle injury, Fant looks primed to return to the TE1 picture, and he'll face a Falcons Defense allowing the most fantasy points per game to the tight end position in Week 9.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
