4 years agoDenver Broncos tight end Nick Vannett caught his first touchdown pass of the season in the 32-27 Week 14 win over the Panthers on Sunday. Vannett was targeted four times in the game and caught all four for 20 yards and the score. Both he and Troy Fumagalli were forced to step in with Noah Fant leaving the game due to an illness. Fumagalli caught four his five targets for a career-high 53 yards after having just two catches for 12 yards coming into the game. Vannett had 10 receptions on 16 targets for 75 yards before his Week 14 performance. The two tight ends could be featured more in the passing game yet again in Week 15 against the Bills if Fant is inactive, but even then, neither of them would be a realistic fantasy starting tight end in this offense.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
