The New York Mets are unlikely to sign their 2021 first round pick, pitcher Kumar Rocker, prior to Sunday's 5 p.m. ET deadline, according to Jeff Passan of ESPN. After being hyped up last year as the potential No. 1 overall pick in the 2021 draft, Rocker dropped to No. 10 overall to the Mets, and now there are concerns over his medical reports which have caused the Mets to back away from signing him. This is quite the disappointment for the 21-year-old, who had gone 14-4 with a 2.73 ERA, 0.934 WHIP and 36.5 percent strikeout rate at Vanderbilt this season.--Michael
