Max Muncy Placed On Injured List
1 year agoThe Los Angeles Dodgers placed infielder Max Muncy (hamstring) on the 10-day injured list on Friday and recalled infielder Michael Busch from Triple-A Oklahoma City in a corresponding move. Muncy suffered a low-grade hamstring strain earlier this week and will miss at least the next 10 days, but the good news is it's not too serious. Utility man Chris Taylor made the start at third base again for the Dodgers on Friday, and he's likely to see most of the playing time there until Muncy returns. The 32-year-old left-handed slugger is hitting a miserable .191 (40-for-209) in 60 games this year, but he should be stashed in all fantasy leagues because of his power abilities (18 home runs and 45 RBI).
