Matthew Stafford Expects Bounce-Back Year From Van Jefferson
1 year agoLos Angeles Rams wide receiver Van Jefferson was second on the team with 802 receiving yards and six touchdowns in the team's Super Bowl-winning season in 2021, but he was limited to just 11 games due to injury and caught 24 passes for 369 yards and three TDs in 2022. Quarterback Matthew Stafford thinks Jefferson will bounce back as a big part of the offense in 2023 behind All-Pro Cooper Kupp. "I think he looks great. The more reps I get with him the better and I know he feels really confident going into the season. We feel confident in him," Stafford said. It's a key season for the 26-year-old, as he's set to become a free agent after this year. Jefferson is probably going to go undrafted in 12-team fantasy leagues, but he's going to have a bigger role if he's healthy and could be a popular early season waiver-wire pickup if he's producing.
