Matthew Stafford Could Miss Practice All Week
4 years agoDetroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford (rib) will not practice on Wednesday and could miss the entire week of practice, according to interim head coach Darrell Bevell. "Gonna take it to the end of the week. Gonna see how he does. I'm totally comfortable with him not practicing and (then) playing in the game, I've seen him do it," Bevell said. Stafford could play in Week 15 against the Titans without practicing, but that's probably unlikely. As of right now, fantasy managers should be making plans to be without Stafford this weekend. If he's inactive, backup Chase Daniel would get the nod against Tennessee, making the Titans Defense more attractive and Detroit's pass-catchers more of a risk. Daniel would be a low-end QB2 flier in superflex leagues. Stafford is dealing with a piece of broken cartilage between his ribs.
