Madison Bumgarner Expects To Make Next Start
2 years agoArizona Diamondbacks left-hander Madison Bumgarner (arm) said his left arm feels better and he's thrown since returning to Phoenix. He expected to make his next scheduled start on Friday against the Los Angeles Dodgers. Bumgarner dealt with fatigue in his first start of the year and thinks he just overdid his throwing in the week prior to the start. The 33-year-old allowed five runs on four hits while walking four in four innings against the Dodgers in his season debut last Saturday. He doesn't have any structural damage in his arm, though, so he won't need a trip to the injured list. Fantasy managers should be extremely wary of using MadBum in a rematch with a potent Dodgers lineup.
