Luis Severino Throwing Up To 90 Feet
2 years agoWednesday marks New York Yankees starting pitcher Luis Severino's (lat) fourth day of throwing, and he's up to 90 feet, according to manager Aaron Boone. Severino will travel with the team to Baltimore with the goal of throwing his first bullpen session at some point this weekend. The 29-year-old right-hander suffered a low-grade lat strain in spring training, which caused him to open the 2023 campaign on the injured list. He'll eventually need to go out on a minor-league rehab assignment before making his season debut for the Yanks, and he's expected to miss around three to four starts. With ace potential when he's fully healthy, Severino needs to be stashed in all fantasy formats until he's able to return.
