Luis Robert Jr. Getting Time Off
Luis Robert Jr. is out of the starting lineup ahead of Tuesday's game against the Detroit Tigers. White Sox manager Will Venable said Robert won't start on Tuesday or Wednesday. The team is giving him a few days off to work through some problems. Robert is currently in the middle of a 1-for-20 stretch at the plate. He's slashing .177/.266/.286 on the season, so hopefully a little time off will help him get back on track. Michael A. Taylor will bat eighth and cover center field versus right-hander Beau Brieske on Tuesday.
