23XI Racing's Bubba Wallace placed sixth after a hard-fought day during the Cracker Barrel 400 at Nashville Superspeedway. Beginning the race from the 12th position, Wallace tried to make his way into the top 10 during the race, but was caught speeding on pit road early in the first stage and received a penalty. As a result, he ended the first stage one lap down in the 29th position. Wallace quickly returned to the lead lap after getting the free pass on an early caution during the second stage and then quietly progressed up to 18th by the end of the stage, still missing out on stage points. During the final stage, Wallace and his team continued to execute on pit stops and improved the car to the point that it became fast enough to reach the top 10 by the end of the race. Wallace would finish in the sixth position, falling short of passing William Byron for a top-5 finishing position. This finish ended up being Wallace's first top-10 finish since his eighth-place run at Talladega at the end of April.--Sean Engel - RotoBallerRead More News
