Braelon Allen "One of the Stars" of Jets Training Camp
Braelon Allen has been "one of the stars of camp so far," and the Jets are "going to have a hard time keeping Allen off the field," according to Zack Rosenblatt of The Athletic. A fourth-round pick in 2024 out of Wisconsin, Allen rushed for 334 yards and two touchdowns on 92 carries as a rookie. He's the nominal backup to Breece Hall in New York, but there's been steady buzz coming out of Jets' camp that the two backs will share the workload fairly evenly. Rosenblatt notes that Jets head coach Aaron Glenn has "made it a point" to talk up Hall's receiving ability, which could point to more third-down work for Hall and early-down work for Allen. There's a significant difference in where the two Jets backs are being drafted by fantasy managers, so Allen could end up being a steal if New York does indeed opt for more of a 50/50 split.
