Kyle Finnegan Traded to the Tigers
Kyle Finnegan to the Detroit Tigers on Thursday. Finnegan will now join the first-place Tigers as they look to make a push to win a division title and make a deep run in the playoffs. It's been an up-and-down season for Finnegan, as he has 20 saves out of 26 save opportunities this season. He was ranked sixth in the National League in saves. However, he owns a 4.38 ERA to go with a 1.28 WHIP. In his career, Finnegan has 108 saves. Finnegan figures to be the seventh- or eighth-inning guy for the Tigers, which decreases his value. Will Vest appears to have a good hold on the closer role, and Tommy Kahnle and Tyler Holton have been solid as middle relievers while also getting a few saves from time to time.
