Darcy Kuemper Won't Play Monday Due to Illness
Los Angeles Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Colorado Avalanche, according to The Mayor. Kuemper had a rough outing in his last start against the Edmonton Oilers, allowing four goals on 15 shots in Thursday's 8-1 loss. Some time off may help him get back on track. Despite a solid 2.68 goals-against average, Kuemper has gone 14-12-9 across 37 starts this season with a .897 save percentage. Anton Forsberg shut out the Calgary Flames on Saturday night with 29 saves and is likely to start a second consecutive game on Monday.
