Los Angeles Kings goaltender Darcy Kuemper (illness) has been ruled out for Monday's contest against the Colorado Avalanche, according to The Mayor. Kuemper had a rough outing in his last start against the Edmonton Oilers, allowing four goals on 15 shots in Thursday's 8-1 loss. Some time off may help him get back on track. Despite a solid 2.68 goals-against average, Kuemper has gone 14-12-9 across 37 starts this season with a .897 save percentage. Anton Forsberg shut out the Calgary Flames on Saturday night with 29 saves and is likely to start a second consecutive game on Monday.--Taavi Pailk
