Carlos Correa to Return on Friday
Carlos Correa (head) expects to be in the lineup for the Twins on Friday, when the team opens a series with the Guardians in Cleveland. The 30-year-old veteran had to leave Tuesday's game and sat out Wednesday due to a migraine, but there was also speculation about him possibly being traded at the deadline. He has a full no-trade clause and downplayed the possibility of playing anywhere else when asked about it on Wednesday. This year, Correa is batting .267 with seven homers, just a .119 ISO and .337 wOBA. He has a 97 wRC+, which indicates he's been below league average this season. He'll look to turn it around with a strong finish, and it doesn't look like the migraine issues will hold him back at all moving forward.
