Rickie Fowler has quietly been playing solid golf lately, recording six finishes inside the top 30 over his last nine events. He'll look to continue that form at the Wyndham Championship, where he has teed it up three times but missed the cut in his last two appearances. Fowler currently sits 61st in the FedEx Cup standings, just inside the top-70 cutoff heading into the final week before the playoffs. While he's in position to advance, he can't afford any slip-ups and will need to improve on his past results here by being accurate from tee to green and capitalizing on birdie opportunities. He ranks 84th in total strokes gained at plus-0.149 per round, 49th in driving accuracy, but only 111th in greens in regulation at 65.47%. He does a good job converting birdies, ranking 50th on tour, though his approach play remains inconsistent -- he's 106th in strokes gained on approach and 93rd in proximity from 150 to 175 yards, a range that accounted for 23.7% of all approach shots here last year.
