Mack Hollins Activated Off PUP List, Practicing on Thursday
Mack Hollins (undisclosed) has been activated off the active/physically unable to perform list and is participating in the team's training camp practice on Thursday, according to Doug Kyed of The Boston Herald. Hollins missed the beginning part of training camp with an undisclosed ailment. In 17 games last season with the Buffalo Bills, Hollins recorded 31 catches for 378 yards and five touchdowns. The soon-to-be 32-year-old has been known primarily for his work as a blocker and special teamer, but he's shown the ability to win down the field as a receiver at certain points in his career. Stefon Diggs and DeMario Douglas appear locked in as New England's top two receivers, so Hollins joins a crowded WR3 competition that includes Kyle Williams, Kayshon Boutte, Kendrick Bourne, Javon Baker, and Ja'Lynn Polk.
