Juwan Johnson Returns to Practice in Limited Capacity
Juwan Johnson (groin) attended the team's Friday practice and did some individual work, but did not participate in team drills, according to ESPN's Katherine Terrell. Johnson left the team's practice on Wednesday due to a groin injury. It's a good sign for both him and the team that he's back on the field so quickly, even if he's not yet at full strength. In 17 games for New Orleans last season Johnson recorded 50 catches for 548 yards and three touchdowns. He's emerged as the Saints' top receiving tight end over the past few seasons, and he could be in for an increased workload in 2025 with fellow tight ends Taysom Hill (knee) and Foster Moreau (knee) both currently sidelined due to knee injuries. That being said, Johnson's fantasy value is limited by New Orleans' underwhelming quarterback situation.
