Kyle Pitts Dealing With Strained Muscle in his Foot
Kyle Pitts (foot) hasn't been practicing in voluntary organized team activities due to a strained muscle in his foot, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. There has also been speculation about Pitts' future in Atlanta with his name recently popping up in trade rumors this offseason. Head coach Raheem Morris said the team is being "extremely cautious" with the 24-year-old former first-rounder, so it doesn't appear to be a very serious injury. Pitts is heading into the final year of his rookie deal after the team picked up his fifth-year option for 2025. Offensive coordinator Zac Robinson is expecting big things from Pitts this year, but fantasy managers have also fallen for that before, only to be disappointed. Other than a career-high four TDs in 2024, he disappointed with 47 catches and 602 yards. Fantasy managers that take him as a low-end TE1 will be hoping he figures it all out with young quarterback Michael Penix Jr.
