Jon Rahm Looks to Prove His Importance on European Ryder Cup Team
Much like most of Team Europe, Jon Rahm's time in the upcoming Ryder Cup matches has been more about triumph than letdown. On a personal level, the Spaniard himself returned to the normal level of play in 2025 that we're used to seeing from him. He was involved in the conversation in three of the four major championships, and despite not winning a tournament on the year, he secured the season-long individual title on the LIV Golf League by finishing inside the top 10 on every leaderboard throughout it's tournament schedule. The ball striking remains the brightest spot in his game, especially regarding his efficiency off the tee. Rahm's game should trend well here for a Luke Donald-led group that lacks firepower compared to the Americans. He boasts a 6-3-3 record over three Ryder Cup appearances, and that kind of gutsy resiliency will be needed in Bethpage if he hopes to help retain the Cup on foreign soil.
