This year's event shifts to TPC Toronto, a 7,400-yard par 70 that should reward distance off the tee and strong long-iron play, areas that suit Schmid's game. He ranks 15th in driving distance, 98th in strokes gained off the tee (plus-0.028 per round), and 36th on approach (plus-0.372). Over the last 12 months, he also sits in the 90th percentile in proximity from 150–200 yards—a range likely to play a key role this week.
