Ketel Marte Hits Two Homers, Plates Three Tuesday
Ketel Marte played his part offensively in Tuesday's 8-3 win over the Braves. Marte went 3-for-3 with a single, a solo home run, a two-run HR, and two walks. The 31-year-old got things going early, destroying a first-inning Spencer Strider offering deep into the left-center seats. He then lined a third-inning Strider fastball just over the right-field wall to score two more. Health has been an issue for Marte again this season, but he has been excellent when in the lineup, slashing .294/.417/.597 with 10 HR, 16 RBI, and two stolen bases in 144 plate appearances. He remains a high-end fantasy option whenever he is on the field.
