Hunter Greene Headed for MRI on Groin
Hunter Greene had his start cut short after five innings and 85 pitches after feeling a grab in his groin. Manager Terry Francona said that he is set for an MRI tomorrow morning, reports Mike Petraglia. This is not good news at all for the flamethrower, who already spent time on the injured list this season with a groin strain. This was only his third start since returning and was finally starting to look like himself again with seven strikeouts through the five innings prior to feeling the grab. More updates will be available tomorrow after the MRI, but at this point, it's likely he's headed back to the injured list if it never fully healed the first time.
