4 years agoThe Detroit Lions signed running back Jonathan Williams to their active roster on Friday off the Washington Football Team practice squad. The Lions already have rookie D'Andre Swift, Adrian Peterson, Kerryon Johnson, Jamal Agnew and Bo Scarbrough on their roster, so Williams will add to a crowded running back picture in Detroit. The former fifth-round selection of the Bills in 2016 carried the ball 49 times for 235 yards (4.8 yards per carry) and one rushing touchdown in nine games for the Colts in 2019, but he's done little else in his three years in the NFL with the Bills and Saints. This is purely a depth signing, and Williams can continue being ignored in fantasy.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
