Bubba Wallace returns to Kansas as a playoff contender for the first time. Not only did the 23XI Racing team sweep the Kansas races last year with Kurt Busch winning in the spring event and Wallace winning in the summer, but the Toyotas have maintained that speed all year on the intermediate tracks. In the spring, Wallace finished fourth and ranked fourth in speed while Toyotas made up four of the top five fastest cars in that event. Wallace substantially overachieves on this track type in general as in the five previous races on flat intermediates this season. He has had an average speed percentile of 69.68%, well above his percentile for the season of 57.92%. If Wallace is going to win this season, Kansas is probably his best shot.--Sean Wrona - RotoBaller
