Justin Jefferson Could Break Randy Moss' Record
4 years agoMinnesota Vikings rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson, who was just named to the Pro Bowl in his first season, needs 132 receiving yards to break Randy Moss' Vikings rookie receiving-yards record. Jefferson has gone over 132 receiving yards three times in his first 14 games. Moss was taken 21st overall in 1998 and had 69 catches for 1,313 yards and 17 touchdowns in his first season. Jefferson was taken 22nd overall and has 73 catches for 1,182 yards and seven touchdowns. He became the team's third rookie receiver to be named to the Pro Bowl, joining Moss and Sammy White (1976). Jefferson needs 196 more receiving yards to set the Super Bowl era rookie record held by Anquan Boldin (1,377 yards). He'd need 98 receiving yards over the final two games for the record. In his rookie season, the LSU product has become a must-start fantasy wideout.
