Carolina Panthers safety Jeremy Chinn (quad) was placed on the injured reserve list on Tuesday. The move to IR was not a complete surprise after ESPN insider Adam Schefter said last week that Chinn would miss up to six weeks. The Panthers' safety first suffered the quad injury in the team's Week 6 loss and went into Carolina's Week 7 bye hurt. Chinn is first eligible to come off the IR in Week 12 against the Tennessee Titans. But it sounds like he might miss more than that.--Joey Pollizze - RotoBaller
