Carolina Panthers safety Jeremy Chinn (quadriceps) suffered a significant quadriceps injury in the Week 6 loss to the Miami Dolphins that is expected to sideline him for up to six weeks, according to league sources. Chinn doesn't need surgery, but he's also in the last year of his contract in Carolina and is scheduled to be a free agent after this season. The 25-year-old second-year safety/nickel cornerback is a key defensive back for the Panthers, so his injury is a significant loss for Carolina's defense moving forward. Through the team's first six games, Chinn has 23 tackles (15 solo), one sack, two tackles for loss and one pass defensed.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBallerRead More News
